Granulated Sugar - 1 cup
Golden Syrup - ¼ cup
Water - 2 tablespoons
Baking Soda - 2 teaspoons

Instructions

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, golden syrup, and water.
3.
Cook over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
4.
Increase the heat to medium-high and bring to a boil without stirring.
5.
Continue boiling until the mixture reaches 300°F (149°C) on a candy thermometer.
6.
Remove from heat and quickly whisk in the baking soda until the mixture foams up.
7.
Immediately pour the foamy mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
8.
Allow the candy to cool completely, then break into pieces.
