Ingredients

• Unsalted butter - 1 cup
• Granulated sugar - 1 ½ cups
• Brown sugar - ½ cup
• Cocoa powder - ¾ cup
• All-purpose flour - 1 cup
• Salt - ½ teaspoon
• Baking powder - ½ teaspoon
• Eggs - 4 large
• Vanilla extract - 2 teaspoons
• Chocolate chips - 1 cup

Instructions

   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

   In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in both sugars and cocoa powder until smooth.

   Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

   In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture, stirring until just combined.

   Fold in the chocolate chips.

   Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.

   Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is still slightly gooey.

   Allow to cool in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
