Ingredients

• All-purpose flour - 1 and ½ cups
• Granulated sugar - 1 cup
• Cocoa powder - ½ cup
• Baking powder - 1 and ½ teaspoons
• Baking soda - ½ teaspoon
• Salt - ¼ teaspoon
• Eggs - 2 large
• Whole milk - 1 cup
• Vegetable oil - ½ cup
• Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
• Boiling water - ½ cup
• Creamy peanut butter - 1 cup
• Powdered sugar - ½ cup

Instructions

   Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a cupcake pan with liners.

   In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

   Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

   Stir in boiling water until the batter is smooth.

   Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

   While cupcakes are baking, prepare the frosting by beating peanut butter and powdered sugar together until smooth.
