Ingredients

• All-purpose flour - 1 and ½ cups
• Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
• Baking soda - ½ teaspoon
• Salt - ¼ teaspoon
• Unsalted butter - ½ cup
• Granulated sugar - 1 cup
• Eggs - 2
• Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
• Milk - ½ cup
• Caramel sauce - ½ cup
• Popcorn - 2 cups

Instructions

   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a cupcake tray with liners.

   In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

   In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

   Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

   Mix in the vanilla extract.

   Alternate adding the dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients.

   Fill cupcake liners about two-thirds full with batter.

   Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

   Let cupcakes cool completely on a wire rack.

    Drizzle cooled cupcakes with caramel sauce.

11. 11.

    Top each cupcake with a handful of popcorn.

12. 12.

    Drizzle more caramel sauce over the popcorn before serving.
