Ingredients

• Unsalted butter - 1 cup
• Brown sugar - 2 cups
• Heavy cream - 1 cup
• Corn syrup - ¼ cup
• Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
• Salt - ¼ teaspoon

Instructions

   Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.

   In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

   Add brown sugar, heavy cream, corn syrup, and salt to the melted butter.

   Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.

   Continue boiling for about 4-5 minutes, until the mixture reaches a temperature of 240°F (115°C) on a candy thermometer.

   Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

   Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and let it cool completely.

   Once set, cut into small squares and enjoy.
