Ingredients

• Bread - 6 cups, cubed
• Whole milk - 2 cups
• Heavy cream - 1 cup
• Eggs - 4 large
• Granulated sugar - 1 cup
• Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
• Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
• Salt - ½ teaspoon
• Unsalted butter - 2 tablespoons, melted
• Brown sugar - 1 cup
• Butter - ½ cup
• Heavy cream - ½ cup
• Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

   Place the cubed bread in a greased baking dish.

   In a bowl, whisk together milk, heavy cream, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.

   Pour the milk mixture over the bread cubes and let sit for 15 minutes.

   Drizzle melted butter over the top.

   Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden and the center is set.

   For the caramel sauce, heat brown sugar and butter in a saucepan over medium heat until melted.

   Stir in heavy cream and vanilla extract, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

   Serve the bread pudding warm drizzled with caramel sauce.
